Consumer and Business Services (CBS) records significant life events such as births, deaths and marriages for people living in South Australia.

Certificates can be ordered to mark important dates and events in people's lives and can be used:

to prove a person’s identity
for researching family history.

Exhumation

To arrange an exhumation you must apply for a licence from the Attorney-General.
